Happy Memorial Day

This was supposed to be the first Dallas Market Hall Show put on by Premier Shows.

Tina and I were looking forward to it with high hopes of Michelle and Tim and the rest of their crew revitalizing the venue.

We were also looking forward to the shows resuming both because we miss folks and because it is our retirement business and I don’t want to have to go back to working the Big Box Stores.

When I was growing up in the Adirondack Mountains there was always a Memorial Day Parade honoring those who died for this country.  It was both a somber and festive holiday for along with salutes to the fallen and the placing of flags on graves Memorial Day marked the start of the summer season which ran through Labor Day.  Time to put boats in the lakes and go swimming in the bracing 55 degree water.

Stay safe every one.  Especially i9f you are one of us geezers with various ailments that make us extra vulnerable.

At this point we are hanging in there and hoping Waxahachie June 13-14 is a go.
