Not as far as I am concerned.  The first handguns I learned how to shoot were revolvers.  While I mostly shoot and own semi-auto polymer wonders I still have a fondness for a fine Smith or Colt DA revolver.  It’s sort of like still liking single stack 1911s even though the polymer wonder guns bring a lot more to the table in terms of cost, number of rounds and ease of carry.

Sort of like loving both the AR platform and traditional blue and walnut.
