Weather forecasts say the rain will stop soon.
I sure hope so. The drought is over, the ground is saturated and people are dying from flooding.
Turn Around Don’t Drown was driven home to us. Last night some one drowned at the intersection of La Prada and the 635, a few blocks from where we live. Earlier this week someone said the water in Duck Creek was dangerously deep and that people should avoid the intersection. The person who died last night was in a pick up truck that floated free and over turned trapping him.
Having flashlights and survival stuff makes a lot of sense when the power could go down for days given the severity of the storms.
On a happier note we will be at the Lone Star Gun Show in Fort Worth this weekend. we went and set up today. We have two tables and are in the front sections but more to the left of the entrance.
Lots of new Spydercos and Cold Steel knives.
We have three older Colt double action revolvers and a nice nickel plated Smith & Wesson Model 10. We also have three shotguns and several other guns.
Show Hours are:
Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and 9:00am-4:00pm on Sunday
