Today was just about as good as it gets. We went over to Fort Worth to set up for this weekend’s Premier Gun Show.
We have two tables now. Whole lots of new knives and a bunch of long guns we finally have the space to display.
It’s our third show since moving at the start of April. We are finally getting some order back in our lives. The new house is shaping up, we’ve got some roses to plant, a new lawn mower and a new grill to put together.
We got to talk to other vendors we haven’t seen in a couple of months. It’s always nice to jaw a bit and catch up on the news.
After setting up we went to Fred’s Texas Cafe. They make a great burger but the best thing on the menu is their jalapeno, bacon, onion, cheese fries. Great music, great food and real Texas attitude.
Today I learned Ben E. King (Stand By Me) passed away. On the way home I heard that B.B. King has entered a hospice. I feel blessed to have had the good fortune to see B.B. King more than a dozen times over the last 50 years.
We aren’t in the same spot we were in for the last year or so. We are now a couple of aisles to the right of where we were and are more towards the center, about half way between the front and the back.
Stop on by and check out our new knives or for that matter just to say hi.
Show hours are Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and 10:00am-4:00pm on Sunday
Looking forward to the weekend.
