Last weekend we did a show up in Bonham. The show was quiet, we did okay.
Unfortunately we didn’t realize that about ten miles of Route 78 is a poorly lit, under construction nightmare drive in the pre-dawn hours.
We have a hard enough time on well lit major roads during those hours, which is why we try to keep shows close to home during the fall and winter period.
We want to give a big friendly shout out to Gene Pipes of Sam Houston Knives
We had a great time chatting with him before and during the show. He recently added Knives of Alaska to his line of knives, go visit his site and see some of the knives he sells as well as his post about Texas.
We wound up trading a couple of fishing reels for a couple of Robert Garza knives. Robert Garza is a Texas knife make out of Arlington Texas.
This coming weekend Tina and I will be at Big Town, one of our favorite shows as it is only about twenty minutes from our house.
