We’ll Always Have Paris… Texas that is…

Oct 2013 089

On Friday we drove up to Paris, Texas. It’s about 90 miles northeast of Dallas.

Paris is small city Texas with only a few Big Box stores.  We stayed at the Comfort Inn.  The people at the desk were warm and friendly, the room was very comfortable.

We ate at the Fish Fry on Loop 286 near our hotel.  Good food and a down home atmosphere.

Allen’s shows are smaller than the Dallas/Fort Worth shows and are fairly casual.

We did most of our business on Saturday in spite of it being rainy with a cold front moving through.  Sunday was rather slow with most vendors starting to pack up early.

No post about Paris, Texas would be complete without a photograph of the Paris, Texas version of the Eiffel Tower so see above.

This coming weekend we will be at the Premier Gun Show in Fort Worth.

We are still working on designing a banner sign so look for our DIY Guns, Ammo, Knives sign this coming weekend.
